Roy Aultman, Founder

Born and raised in Fayette County, Georgia, Roy Aultman has always had a love of the outdoors. Much of his early life was spent surrounded by nature - whether it was fishing with his Granddaddy up in Powder Springs, or helping out on his family farm down in Bainbridge. From a young age, Roy had a lifelong dream of working outdoors and his humble beginnings allowed him to take this passion and transform it into a career.

How We Started

In 1994, while working for a home builder, Roy was encouraged to buy his own equipment and start grading the builder's lots himself. He took this advice, bought a front-end loader and went from there. Five years later - on March 2, 1999 - he founded and incorporated Aultman Grading. Today, Aultman Grading boasts a large fleet of equipment and provides a variety of services - including grading, excavation, and turn-key site development.
